Ms. Jeffries is a native of the lowcountry and cherishes the importance and significance of family. Her work with the Jeffries Law Firm is an opportunity for her to serve God and help families achieve wholeness during difficult times.

Ms. Jeffries received a B.A. in English from Columbia College in 2000 and J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003. She served as an Assistant Attorney General with the S.C. Office of the Attorney General where she handled Post Conviction Relief matters and prosecuted criminal domestic violence cases. In family court cases that involve some element of abuse, Ms. Jeffries draws on her prior prosecutorial experience to provide zealous advocacy.

While an associate attorney with a Midlands area law firm, she defended workers’ compensation insurance carriers before the S.C. Workers Compensation Commission and provided training and legal updates to insurance adjusters. She builds on this intimate experience and skill while now representing injured workers before the S.C. Workers’ Compensation Commission.

She is a member of the S.C. Association for Justice, Orangeburg County Bar Association, S.C. Fee Dispute Board, First Judicial Circuit, S.C. Black Lawyers Association, First Circuit Chair, S.C. Women Lawyers Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and Jack and Jill of America, Orangeburg Chapter. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army, Orangeburg, and Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce.

Bryan Jeffries

Mr. Jeffries is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and stands firm on principles of fairness and equal protection. His work with the Jeffries Law Firm is an opportunity for him to hold the legal system accountable and ensure that clients receive due process and equity under the law.

Mr. Jeffries received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 1998 and J.D. from the University of South Carolina, School of Law in 2002. He served as a full time Major Violent Crimes and DUI Prosecutor in Richland and Orangeburg Counties for several years. He has gained extensive trial experience and has provided training on legal procedures to members of law enforcement.

He is a member of the S.C. Association for Justice, Richland County Bar Association, S.C. Black Lawyers Association, S.C. Bar Fee Dispute Board for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, and Lexington County Department of Social Service Advisory Committee. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Samaritan House Transitional Homeless Shelter in Orangeburg and the Family Shelter in Columbia.

He is married to Lakesha Jeffries and they have three children: Kali, Olivia, and Daniel.
